The Beginning of the End to Human Suffering

This is the beginning of the end to human suffering. Human suffering is mostly an unnecessary thing. With the right support system and mindset, together we could end or minimize human suffering. Unfortunately, doing things together for the benefit of everyone is relatively lost amongst human societies.
Relieving human suffering is a complex and multi-faceted issue, and there are many ways to approach it. Here are a few possible ways to relieve human suffering.
Addressing basic needs
One of the most effective ways to relieve human suffering is to ensure that people's basic needs are met. This includes access to nutritious food, clean water, adequate shelter, sanitation, quality healthcare, and education. Governments, businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals can work to provide these basic necessities to those in need. Too many people in the diaspora are suffering due to a lack of basic needs for survival. Along with basic needs, is the assurance of human rights.

The United Nations define human rights as "rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination."
The Temple Code of the Humanistic Temple of Alkebulan church identifies these virtues that ensure everyone is granted basic needs and human rights:
Charity - I will be generous and helpful especially toward the needy or suffering.
Compassion - I will have sympathy and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of all living beings.
Promoting social justice
Many forms of human suffering are the result of systemic injustice and inequality. Promoting social justice and working to create a more equitable society can help to reduce suffering by addressing its root causes.
Tribalism is the state of being organized by tribes or clans which share common ancestry and culture. This can be a great way of having or showing support but also have negative effects. It can manifest itself by discriminatory behavior or attitudes towards those outside of the tribe. It can cause marginalization of other groups by restricting resources and political power.
Xenophobia is the fear, hatred or hostility towards foreigners. This can result in unfair treatment or physical violence. Viewing oneself as being part of the human tribe and showing compassion and fairness changes this negative consequence. Fairness - I will be impartial in behavior without favoritism or discrimination, and advocate for the just treatment of others.
Graciousness - I will be courteous and kind.
Providing emotional support
Human suffering often takes an emotional toll, and providing emotional support can be just as important as addressing physical needs. This can include counseling, therapy, and other mental health services. Many communities are suffering from personal traumas experienced in their past life or everyday life. A segment of the community walking around with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which manifests itself in many ways that negatively affect themselves, family, the community and society. For many it is not easy to accept that we may have a problem that we cannot deal with ourselves and need to seek help. It is essential that we humble ourselves and seek the help we need. Humility - I will remain humble and modest.
Discipline - I will correct and regulate myself for the sake of self-improvement, exercise self-control.
Patience - I will practice patience and be patient with others.

Education
Education can be a powerful tool for reducing suffering by providing people with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their lives. This includes formal education as well as community-based education programs. Education opens doors to new job opportunities, respectable wages, and improved human capital.
It is essential that members of society study complete and accurate history to give them self-worth and a true sense of their contribution to society or the world. Studying science and technology is essential to competing in the world economy. It gives understanding to the natural world and helps dispel superstitious and mythological beliefs that may hinder progress. The Temple Code of the Humanistic Temple of Alkebulan church identifies the following virtues to prevent this:
Discipline - I will correct and regulate myself for the sake of self-improvement, exercise self-control.
Perseverance - I will be persistent in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.
Volunteering
There are many opportunities to volunteer your time and resources to help those in need. Volunteering can be a great way to make a positive impact on the world and to alleviate human suffering. Ultimately, relieving human suffering requires a multifaceted approach that addresses both the immediate needs of people in crisis as well as the underlying causes of that suffering.
Alkebulan Village
Humanistic Temple of Alkebulan church is creating a plan to address human suffering with the Alkebulan Village project. It is a planned multi-cultural community for the African diaspora, where the community supports the ideals of the Temple Code and work together for the common cause of becoming better humans, making their world a better place to live, and relieving human suffering. Like in many African cultures, there is a strong emphasis on the extended family and communal living. Extended families often live together and work together to support each other, share resources, and solve problems. This sense of community extends beyond the family unit to the broader community, where people often come together to work on projects or solve problems that affect everyone. Community and collective action are highly valued and viewed as essential for achieving success and well-being. In addition, other African cultural practices, such as communal farming and manufacturing, emphasize the importance of working together to achieve common goals. This will involve sharing labor and resources, pooling knowledge and skills, and collaborating to address challenges and solve problems.
